I'm Your Instructor
Jim McIntosh
I have been a wire artist since 2003. When I first started to learn this art, the only information available was a few old books and an extremely expensive video library offered by an artist. When I would come across an experienced artist, they didn't want to divulge any of their "secrets." That was aggravating. So I started to do a lot of research. I taught myself through trial and error. There were a lot of moments when I thought that I would never get it! However, with a lot of patience and tons of practice (practice, practice, practice), I was able to create jewelry that I was very pleased with. Since then, I have not only created hundreds of pieces of jewelry, but I've also written four books and taught in several shops and homes throughout the mid-west United States. That has brought me here. I don't want anyone to have to go through what I did just to create jewelry that they can be proud of. This website is dedicated to helping anyone, no matter where they are on planet Earth, learn this beautiful and exciting art.
